I am Bhuvana, a passionate visual storyteller based in Chennai, specializing in photography and filmmaking. My journey began in 2021 when I first stepped into the world of photography, driven by a deep love for capturing stories through visuals. In 2023, I was honored to be selected for the prestigious Kanavu Fellowship, a one-year program dedicated to photography and filmmaking for female-identifying candidates, organized by the Chennai Photo Biennale. As part of the fellowship, my photographs and documentary film were showcased in an exhibition, marking a significant milestone in my career.

Following the exhibition, an article about my journey and work was published in Dinamalar, which not only boosted my confidence but also opened doors to new opportunities for professional growth. During the fellowship, I joined Studio A, one of Tamil Nadu’s leading wedding photography companies, as an intern. This experience allowed me to gain extensive knowledge in the field, build valuable industry connections, and secure numerous freelancing projects.

After completing the fellowship in 2024, I continued my role at Studio A as a photographer and photo editor, further honing my skills and expanding my expertise. In addition to my work at the studio, I specialize in wedding documentary photography and album designing, capturing the emotions, moments, and unique stories of each couple and creating timeless memories through beautifully crafted albums.

My journey so far has been a blend of creativity, learning, and growth, and I am committed to continuing my passion for visual storytelling while exploring new horizons in the field. I take pride in creating art that resonates with people and leaves a lasting impact.
